🎉 TBB 2024: The Event Has Ended, But We’re Not Done Yet! The final day of TBB 2024 has wrapped up, but the story isn’t over! 🌍 On Day 3, we recorded 33.24 tonCO₂e emissions over 231,468 km of travel. Looks like we're heading home! This brings our total emissions for the event to 118.35 tonCO₂e, with a total distance of 736,078 km. 🚀 Tomorrow, we’ll be measuring the carbon footprint of attendees as they travel back home. This will give us a full understanding of the event’s total impact, including return trips. 📊 And next week, we’ll publish the Final Report, where we’ll share key insights and lessons learned on our collective carbon footprint. 🌟 TBB 2024: The Event Day 1 Report is Here! The event has officially kicked off today, and the carbon footprint numbers are in! We recorded 9.67 tonCO₂e emissions and covered 66,083 km on Day 1. Here are some highlights from the first day: 🚶♀️ Zero Emission Activities: We walked and cycled a total of 2,534 km, emitting zero CO₂! 🚆 Low Emission Activities: Public transport (train, bus, tram) contributed to 4,004 km of travel. ✈️ High Emission Activities: Flights and car journeys accounted for 59,545 km and 9.60 tonCO₂e of emissions. 📅 The data is exciting, and we’re measuring how we’re progressing in toward sustainability. October 17-18 will bring more live updates from the event.
