GILLIG, a prominent U.S. manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses, recently expanded its engineering capabilities by acquiring select assets from Lightning eMotors and Lightning Systems through a receivership sale. This acquisition led to the establishment of GILLIG's new Colorado Technology Center in Loveland, Colorado, which will serve as an engineering hub for the company. The acquisition included hiring former engineering employees of Lightning and aims to enhance GILLIG's expertise in electric powertrain engineering to meet the growing demand for zero-emission transit solutions. We are preparing to provide ground station and tracking support. 📡 〰️🛰 🛰 Our LEOP support services help establish & maintain reliable RF comms quickly after launch, reducing the risk for satellite operators to loose contact. Ground Station support 📡: ✔ Dedicated or shared capacity on our antennas to track your passes. ✔ Even if TLE's aren't perfect, we can actively acquire, receive and record your spacecraft downlink after launch & in the first weeks. ✔ High quality raw signal recordings: All passes are recorded to allow post-processing & can provide a critical source of data in case of an anomaly. ✔ Support for all common frequency bands: S-Band & UHF/VHF (and others). Tracking & Object Identification support 🎯: ✔ We can help locate and keep track of your satellite after launch by providing tracking info/refined TLEs (from our tracking measurements). ✔ We can help you with Object Identification: by matching our tracking measurements we can accurately identify which object your satellite is. Lost satellite support 🔍: ✔In case you have not managed to receive your satellite or have lost comms, get in touch and we can search for any (weak) transmissions and try (re-)locate the satellite for you!
