Last week, I was inspired by the energy and dedication at Carenity's seminar. It was a profound opportunity to reconnect with our mission and engage in meaningful discussions about our company culture and values. 🚀 Our mission at Carenity is our North Star: to improve the lives of patients. With today's announcement, IndiGo will soar to new heights with the launch of BluChip. At Customer Capital, there are so many exceptional things about this project that I don't even know where to start. It's like trying to list every episode of your favorite series—impossible, but so satisfying! One thing's for sure: as a company, we can feel as proud as a peacock. A big shoutout to the IndiGo team, Alan Lias, Iain Webster, Ajay Row, and the rest of the Customer Capital team for turning what seemed like mission impossible into mission accomplished. We achieved the last milestone of this year! How were we able to? Best time to have a short look back on this exciting year. 👀 ▪ Our Team started with the focus to decommission a service which was referred to as "not decommissionable", because it had dependencies basically all over the company. Well, we did it. 👉 Better resilience and scalability ▪ In past years we were forced to have combined releases due to a shared library used by other teams, leading to huge communication, coordination and testing efforts. Solved with a component we have provided. 👉 Less dependencies and more flexibility ▪ The first two mentioned milestones were the predecessors for the next smooth release: The side navigation and app selector. 👉 Improved UX and foundation to include further services into the DKV Mobility world. There were three major points that enabled us for these achievements: 1. #Communication. As a framework team its mandatory to be aligned with other teams and areas early. 2. #Learning. Do not finger point or blame but learn from mistakes and also from successes. 3. #Trust. Your people are the experts. Give them the tools and freedom to do their job best and trust in their advice. I'm thankful to all participants in theses and the unmentioned accomplishments and can't be prouder of my team! It was a year with ups and downs and I'm super excited about the challenges we will handle next year!
