Think about the number three - there are three wishes and it can also represent the past, present, and future. I recently celebrated my Three Year Carvanaversary and am thrilled to announce my promotion to Recruiter and excited to see what comes next! My journey with Carvana began as an Associate Recruiter by supporting the hiring for our Customer Experience team (our Advocates who work with customers over the phone) and making a few road stops along the way to support recruiting for other roles in the company. About two years ago, I changed lanes and started hiring for our Market Operations teams - our Vehicle Delivery Advocates (that's my present focus). The future keeps me inspired, challenged, and staying with the auto vernacular … driven. I'm driven to support hiring for our Snow Belt region (Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania) and when the opportunity comes up, to jump in to support my team and other markets across the country. I feel incredibly fortunate to work with some of the most talented recruiters in the industry. I'm humbled by their focus, dedication and support, and my managers have truly been champions of my growth and development since joining the team - everyone I've come in contact with (past and present) at Carvana has had an impression and impact on my career. Recently, our team had an Ice Breaker, and I asked, "What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?" My answer: "Do what you love and love what you do." I've always lived by that because when you truly have passion for what you do, work becomes more than just a job; it becomes a fulfilling part of your life. HEY EVA-KARIN, I HAVE A QUESTION 🙋🏻♀️ Question: what are your thoughts on diversity? Answer: I have two answers to that. First, our department are representing the customer. And if we only sold our cars to 40-year-old engineers from Sweden… Well, we wouldn’t sell that many cars, would we? Second, I think that everyone bring something into our team. Adrian Korbuly our youngest team member (19 yrs) has a constant stream of questions of why we do things a certain way. (Sometimes we realize that we don’t know the answer to them!) And our oldest Mats Hilmersson has a lot of experience from our department, but also from working in our factory in the US. I could go on like this, with every single person in our team. So, for the position I have open now (see in comments) I am looking for someone that can bring us something extra to the table!
