Three weeks before Good Friday, I was approached by a bar in Soho, to bring them a party to their Friday nights. The reason is due to the 'Thursday being the new Friday' Their Fridays were much quieter now then their Fridays were, before the Pandemic. The working from home culture, we have now, has affected bars & nightclubs ( plus many other retail ) substantially, with people ending their working week being at home. They wanted the first night on Good Friday (three weeks lead time!) but like a lot of companies, they want a great deal bringing to the table with little investment. After all, we are all saving our pennies. I decided to go down the route of Sponsorship for the night to pay for the entrainment... and me.. I am not cheap ;-) The night is initially to run until the end of May and I am so proud to have brought on board an array of sponsors including Bathmate - Mens health equipment Workout Clothing - Clothing for club nights and parties. The Experimental Perfume Club, in Covent Garden, whos new perfume launch includes full sponsorship & giveaways at The Pre Party. BioSure - Self tests and Virus Protection Nasal Spray Foxy Brows - one of the fast growing microblading companies. In short, all my nights are sponsored and the money is flowing. The nights we have had, with the promotion we have done, have been successful to date. With the retention of people and higher bar spend. The bar in question has hired me for their Pride event (which they want me to work on) and Carnival. Its been a lot of work building a party from nothing in three weeks. From the desgin aesthetics, naming ideas and logo creation, printing & design work, agreement forms, sales, hiring of entertainers and contracts, press releases and running competitions in agreement with the Gambling act of 2005. Working with influencers and meeting dealines. Working hard and working smarter pays off. Its not easy, but then it shouldn't be. Too many want the return with no effort made but for me.. the biggest thrill IS the effort. People are missing out on the fun side of business, as they only want to see the rewards. Find your fun, and if it isn't fun... time to find it.

It’s also such a genuine moment to have some real conversations with people that you’d never cross paths with unless you’re attending this sort of thing or luckily grouped together for a fireside chat. Lexi (Sigesmund) Christie it was a dream to talk with you about Chobani, you taking the time to even want to spark the connections to Waymaker Media was such a moment that I won’t forget because the conversation we had about social media, purpose driven campaigns, finding the connection with our brands and our audiences was so genuine. To be so vastly different yet find the vital similarities within both of our careers and our passions that drive the business was a highlight! This mama to be 🤰🏼was so dynamic and I loved being able to connect with her over some gigantic salads and really discussing our careers. Let’s not forget dancing to some of Fat Joe’s greatest hits, core memory 🔒! While planning the first-ever Classic Cookie® festival, I wanted to be sure those we collaborated with had a positive experience with our brand When we selected Historic Downtown Sevierville as the festival's location, I knew we had an opportunity to elevate each downtown business during the event. Here are the highlights from the collaborative efforts between some downtown businesses and our company. 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 Collaboration #1: The salon/spa hosted the birthday cake gallery competition in their boutique retail area. Classic Cookie® Results - A comfortable indoor space for guests where the cake entries would not melt. Salon/Spa Results - High foot traffic and most boutique clothes they have ever sold in the store. 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 Collaboration #2: A two-month-old soda fountain business contributed prizes for social media and festival giveaways. Classic Cookie® Results: We had a unique marketing opportunity to engage fans before and during the festival. Soda Fountain Results: They had their biggest sales day in company history during the event. 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 Collaboration #3: The BBQ restaurant sold the Classic Cookie® Cinnabon cookie warmed up and topped with official Cinnabon frosting. Classic Cookie® Results: We had a vendor who could sell this exclusive item and a place where festival guests could enjoy a savory meal after all the sweets. BBQ Restaurant Results: Packed restaurant during the event with many locals saying they loved the food and would have never tried the place if not for the event. 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 I am grateful for all these business owners who worked with our team to make our company's birthday celebration special. Through our collaborative efforts, we created massive win-win outcomes for each other.
