Have you ever wanted to maintain professionalism in any context? Even though I’m only a few chapters in, 'Verbal Judo' is already reshaping how I approach conversations. Here are my three takeaways. 1.) If you are in a confrontation, you shouldn't make the other person your enemy; instead, you should empathize with them. 2.) One simple way to motivate someone is to raise their expectations. 3.) Empathizing with someone can calm them down.

Remember, when entering a space look near and then far, maintaining good peripheral vision is key to staying safe. Avoid hard focusing or staring back, as this can be perceived as aggression.
