Transparency creates trust and loyalty and is key in transformational leadership.
Some of the stories shared in "Ripple of Change" really hit close to home. We have a close family friend who was recently diagnosed with very aggressive metastatic breast cancer and this is one of the most difficult pieces of news to receive. A story shared in the book brought my mind immediately to our friend. ⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️ Patients need our honesty and transparency, no matter how difficult it may be. Only then can we truly help them navigate their situation and meet their unique needs. I'd highly recommend getting your hands on "Ripple of Change" by Joshua J. Judy, MSF and Todd R. Otten, M.D. ⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️⚕️ Ripple of Change: A burned-out physician and his frustrated patient deploy razor-sharp insight, experience, and irreverent humor to launch a sorely needed discussion on today's healthcare system. https://a.co/d/hJpUJc0
