Catalpa is proud to continue our strong partnership with the National Ambulance and Emergency Medical Service (SNAEM, I.P) in Timor-Leste!
We're honored to extend our support for the vital Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system at the Ambulance Information Centre and deeply appreciate the trust SNAEM has placed in us. Through our ongoing collaboration in the Ambulansia service, we remain committed to supporting the Government of Timor-Leste enhancing emergency medical services, ensuring timely and effective responses.
Catalpa's Ambulansia program leverages advanced technology to improve emergency medical services. It features a Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system for efficient emergency call logging, real-time updates, and streamlined response coordination. This initiative is dedicated to improving healthcare delivery by ensuring timely and effective emergency responses, ultimately saving lives in the communities we support.
The agreement, signed by Dr. Simplicio Amaral de Jesus, Director General of SNAEM, I.P., and Mr. Anders Hofstee, Director of Catalpa International, along with Mr. Amelito Gomes, Director of National Operations, and Dr. Raimundo Pinheiro Magno, Chief of the Ambulance Service Department and Chief of Information Department, extends the support for an additional 6 months.
The report highlights the multifaceted barriers that continue to impede girls' access to education globally. It's a stark reminder of how societal and cultural norms, gender-based violence, and inadequate educational environments perpetuate gender inequality. The lack of information about the benefits of girls' education further exacerbates these issues, often resulting in limited employment prospects and restricted fields of study for women. Unsafe schools and the prevalence of gender-based violence, including sexual harassment and exploitation, create hostile environments that discourage girls from pursuing their education. The absence of gender-sensitive teaching materials and practices further alienates female students, making the educational experience less inclusive and supportive. Addressing these challenges requires a comprehensive approach that includes raising awareness about the importance of girls' education, creating safer school environments, and promoting gender-sensitive educational practices. By tackling these issues, we can pave the way for a more equitable and empowering educational landscape for girls everywhere. #EducationForAll #GirlsEducation #EndGBV
