𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 She only... Before you start cursing me out, let me explain: I made a great video with decent lightning, a good camera, good trend, and it didn't get 500 views. I felt devastated for a second, then I understood why it didn't perform as I expected. I felt like a failure. Then, I saw the hit percentages of Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Drake. I'll break it down for you: Justin Bieber: 285 songs, 85 hits (30%) Taylor Swift: 243 songs, 59 hits (24%) Drake: 133 songs, 38 hits (28%) 73% of their output is not popular. If you didn't know who they are you could say they're not that big of a deal based on numbers and the expectations we have. We believe everything we post, every song somebody else releases should be a hit, go viral, be the next big thing. In reality, it doesn't work that way. P.S. Send this to someone as a reminder to keep going. Big shoutout to Shadab! Thanks so much for sharing with me the image!! Enjoyed my content? How do you find your flow? You know when you are working on a project and you just manage to switch off the world and get stuck in. Some of the things our team have said include Pomodoro Timers, using Lo Fi music, and noise cancelling headphones. Very simple, and sometimes free, but these things help them get laser-focused on the task at hand. 🎧📱🎵 I’ve also heard leaving your mobile phone in another room is another option, although I can imagine that being a bit tricky! How do you find flow? Share your tips below! #FlowState #DeepWork #Virtalent #AdminTasks

ALERT TOPICS #TRENDING NOW! 🎶T-Swift... Again! The release of Taylor Swift's double album, "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology," has sparked trends left and right and conversations/debates on Easter eggs and drama around her long-standing feud with Kim Kardashian. One track in particular, "thanK you aIMee." If you are looking for a trending audio, T-swift is the way to go. 👻TIKTOK The Senate's passage of a measure potentially banning TikTok in the U.S. if ByteDance doesn't divest within a year has sparked widespread discussion. While the outcome remains uncertain, it's wise to prepare. Consider informing your followers about alternative platforms, saving content so that it's not lost if the platform disappears, and adapting your content strategy to prioritize video-heavy platforms like YouTube or Instagram. 💥Alvin, Simon, Theodore 🐿🐿🐿 Popular with the kiddos in 2007, popular with the genz right now. Dance trends, audios, a skit for trios. If you are looking for a fun trend to hop on: Alvin and the Chipmunks. . . . . . Need more Spry in your life? In honor of @taylorswift13 releasing her new double album today, here's a throwback blog about a #TaylorSwift song that offers insights into the art of being a good teammate: https://lnkd.in/edjbZuJN Key points: 1. Good teammates avert team crises by eliminating their personal vices. 2. Good teammates' altruistic behaviors are always sincere. They never have hidden agendas or ulterior motives. To good teammates, altruism is such a part of their identity that it makes actions like turning away from someone in need unimaginable. 3. Good teammates possess the courage and humility to self-assess because they’re driven to be their best—for their teams. Their willingness to "stare in the mirror" affords them a sense of inner peace.

The Pluralsight Revenue team had the absolute privilege of spending 90 minutes with the powerhouse duo Dr. Sahar Yousef and Lucas Miller from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and the Becoming Superhuman lab. The general sentiment after their insight-flooded talk - “I can’t wait to get back to work and try this!” And that’s exactly what I did. Two hours on the flight back home to prepare for the coming week were spent: 1. Outlining MITs (most important tasks) and LITs (least important tasks) for the week ahead 2. Breaking those down by day, no more than 2-3 MITs per day or risk death by long to-do list 3. Calendarized focus sprints in the white space to tackle MITs each day with the auto DND Gmail feature turned on, no more than 60 minutes each with brain breaks in between 4. Phone on DND all day and hidden in a drawer in my office - turns out we are less productive with it in our sight line even if it’s off or notifications are muted - “I am better than my default settings!” 5. A personal pep talk to commit to the plan and go #allin So, how’s it gone? Despite 27 meetings to attend (and counting!), I completed 10 hours of undistracted, focused work, tackling a single MIT or a piece of it at a time, with apps shut down and Perfect Concentration on Spotify as my soundtrack. I’m leaving this week feeling accomplished, not burnt out, and having made major headway on some really big rocks. I’ll take an hour this afternoon to do it all over again for the week ahead. Think. Plan. Execute. Repeat. #productivityhacks #becomingsuperhuman #timemanagement #focus

With 5 tracks to finish for label releases, I was feeling overwhelmed. My to-do list kept growing, and I wasn’t moving fast enough. That’s when I applied the 80/20 strategy—not as a hard rule, but as a way to focus on what truly matters. 80/20 is easy to apply when you have 5 tasks. Just choose the one that yields 80% of the results or acts as the catalyst for more productivity. By focusing on that key task for each set, I was able to make real progress and finish what once felt overwhelming. It’s a reminder that prioritizing the right tasks can lead to more efficiency than trying to tackle everything at once. Have you used the 80/20 strategy to break through overwhelm? I’d love to hear how it’s worked for you. #music #dataengineering #ableton #softwarengineer
