Kangaroo Care isn't just for moms; dads and, in some cases, other family members can also join in (with parental permission, of course). This special skin-to-skin contact is beneficial for both baby and family, helping to strengthen bonds and support development. Talk to your baby's nurse. Sharing your schedule can help plan longer sessions, which are especially beneficial. Even if Kangaroo Care isn't possible at certain times, other forms of touch can still provide comfort. It's normal to feel nervous initially, especially with a very small baby.
