🚀 Executive & Leadership Search 🎯 Passionate about identifying & connecting exceptional leaders in the Consumer (FMCG, Cosmetics, Fashion/Retail/Luxury, Electronics ) and Hospitality Industry with global companies.
I am currently in close partnership with one of the leading Nikkei companies, a stand out leader in the beverage industry here , assisting them in attracting top talents from gaishike companies. This development is particularly good for my FMCG brand marketing candidates, as it opens up exciting avenues to explore new opportunities with Nikkei companies. Whats also exciting and encouraging is to witness that there’s increasing number of candidates from gaishike expressing their enthusiasm and interest in joining nikkei companies to contribute to Japan's growth and success. This shift signals a promising opportunity to achieve a Win-Win scenario for global competitiveness and bolster the nation's economic landscape. As recruiters, we can play a pivotal role as mediators and storytellers, bridging the gap between candidates and companies effectively. I believe regardless of our origins, for many of us Japan is our home, and we all share a vested interest in its prosperity. Therefore, the movement of talents from Gaishike to nikkei companies, and vice versa, is undeniably better for the country's advancement and competitiveness. #ascentglobalpartners #nikkeicompanies #nikkeiopportunities #beverage #leadership #nextgenexecutivefirm #AGPtokyoteam #fmcgmarketing

Entering the Japanese market is a unique challenge for many (dare I say most?) pharma/biotech companies looking to expand their businesses globally. Strict regulations & drug pricing policies aside, the dynamics of the talent market are different from most of the other major regions. Companies looking to establish an entity from scratch need candidates who not only have the technical skills/knowledge, but a proactive & flexible mindset which will allow them to navigate effectively in a startup environment. While this is hard enough on its own, the Japanese talent market has notoriously low mobility and low visibility of candidates. Many biotech companies that have had success through direct sourcing in other regions struggle in this one country because of this. Language barriers and time differences don't help either. I believe that local recruitment agencies with the requisite experience, knowledge, and the right service mindset can add a great deal of value to companies seeking both qualified candidates and guidance/consultation on entering the Japan market. Here at Realstaffing (brand of SThree K.K.), this is exactly what we are looking to do. Companies like Krystal Biotech are one of several companies that our Real Tokyo team and I have been able to successfully support with their market entry in the last few years. It has truly been a gratifying experience to be able to add value to companies who have wonderful products to bring to patients in need. At Real/SThree, we are striving to be Game-changers in STEM. In Japan, we are building a Pharma/Biotech team that is driven by good values and principles, with the aim of forging long-lasting partnerships - something that is key to this challenging market. If you are a firm that is eyeing Japan as a market to potentially establish an entity in, please feel free to reach out to me for a consultation call (j.iida@realstaffing.com). We would be happy to help. #gamechangersinstem

Povilas Sadaunykas has been the Baltics Manager for just over five months, yet his significant impact is already felt throughout the organization. In his recent interview, he shares key insights on driving success and leadership in the Baltic offices. Povilas highlights the differences between Lithuanian and Nordic work styles, emphasizing the importance of balancing efficiency and thoroughness: 💡 “Lithuanians tend to be rather strict, aiming to complete tasks quickly and at a high level. In contrast, the Nordic approach is generally more relaxed and analytical, taking time to consider all aspects before making decisions.” Successful management requires not only understanding your employees but also prioritizing the client. As Povilas says, "Ultimately, everything we do is for the client," reflecting on the unification of the Baltic operations. “The unification is crucial because our clients are also moving in this direction. They prefer working with a single company across multiple countries. For example, a client expanding from Latvia to Lithuania wants to work with the same company in both countries. If we can’t offer that, they’ll look for someone who can,” comments Povilas. Read the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/exk7H4QU

Forbes Ukraine spotlighted Headway among the top 3 employers in the country, and it's our team's feedback that lights the way. People are at the heart of every initiative and every achievement at Headway. As our mission highlights the commitment to help people grow, we emphasize the long-term investment in employees' skills and well-being to drive sustainable progress. Here are the key principles that shape our people-first approach that I mentioned at the Forbes conference yesterday: 🌟 Acting on Values: We shatter the paradigm in which values come off as mere platitudes on the walls. We translate our values into actionable strategies that guide us through everyday challenges. 🤝 Prioritizing Soft Skills: Building a cohesive team of like-minded people is crucial to success. Without cooperation and effective communication, well-coordinated work and attaining business objectives will be at risk. 🎯 Setting a High Bar for Talent: Speedy hiring has never been our priority. Every potential employee goes through bar-raising, the final stage of the hiring process, which helps identify cultural fit and lays the ground for long-term cooperation. A huge shoutout to the incredible Headway team. Let's keep paving the path toward personal and professional growth! 💡

I have been through conflicts where I quit, made friends, and professionally grew: 😔 The one I quit for: The management team decided to let a toxic colleague stay because it was "hard to find a replacement at the time." I communicated face-to-face with the colleague and several management representatives before making the decision. 🤝 The one I made friends through: I addressed some gossip directly with the colleague and explained how my work was meant to support her instead of working against her. As a result, we became great partners and successfully executed events together. 📈 The one I professionally grew from: I acted as a bridge between the US and Mainland China teams, as each had strong opinions about a specific product packaging. Ultimately, both localized teams chose variations of the initial idea, allowing them to achieve their respective KPIs. At the end of the day, the worse way to deal with conflicts is to simply walk away. Interested to learn more? Visit https://loom.ly/cpoIfeI
