Acadia Healthcare has reached a settlement regarding allegations under the False Claims Act, agreeing to pay $16.66 million to the U.S. and $3.19 million to Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and Nevada. The allegations involved billing for medically unnecessary inpatient behavioral health services from 2014 to 2017.
