#altravitahealth thought of the day. #Day5 Social media, is it good or bad? I do remember well my dillema around 13 years ago...to get a FB account or not to get one? It seemed strange at the time to share my privacy with all my friends, and then even more, with people I have never met in my life before and I knew nothing about... I resisted and did not join it, but a few months later I have joined a fitness group that had a FB platform, so I had to join because I liked the programme they had. I chose a different name at the time, George Jackson, so people can't find me and friend me. I liked my privacy.... Moving forwards, now I completely changed my attitude towards it. I feel connected with lots of people, I am a part of some amazing online communities, and my whole life took a different turn because of it. I am grateful for having had access to all the information and courses I got through it and I am very grateful for all the places I visited being inspired by other people's travels. I feel much more connected with my family 2000 miles away and we share every day thoughts, what we do and how we feel. I believe social media is amazing. I love the benefits of it and it makes me feel really appreciated and valued by helping and inspiring other people with my work here. I get amazing feedback from people all over the world and it makes me feel good and purposeful. Like any other things, there are some less positive aspects of it. We generally post only positives and good stuff creating this false idea of perfect lives that can hurt some people's calibration of what life actually is. There are lots of keyboard warriors hurting people left and right and this is not right. With the right attitude and education towards it, we can manage the negatives and enjoy the positives. Everything in life has a negative side. Social media is new, in its infancy, and we cannot stop it. But what we can do, we can educate people on how to use it safely and not get hurt. We can support children in schools for safe use and we can lobby big platforms to do more rigurous checks for use at young age. There are solutions for everything if we put our minds into finding them. Who else here thinks that Social Media use should be a subject in schools and that more rigurous checks should be done for under 18 Social media use? At Altravita Health we leave no stone unturned...we use Social Media to educate, support and improve lives! https://lnkd.in/ek5tWV5A

Subtility is the name of the game......! Are you aware? Your constant exposure to certain things lowers your resistance to them. Have you ever wondered how adverts sell products? Here's how....! They know the more exposed you are to their products, the more likely you are to consider and then eventually buy from them. So ,what do they do? 1️⃣ Awareness:They flood you with their adverts which creates your awareness of their products. The more your eyes , are exposed to these products your head registers them. Then you hear the jingles further enforcing what your eyes has recieved. You become aware of their product. The more you are exposed to their products the more likely you are to make a purchase. The purchase first happens in your mind. 2️⃣Persuasion: It becomes suddenly becomes appealing to you in your subconscious. It is only a matter of time before you buy the product. Then Persuasion happens by highlighting the product unique features and benefits. You are shown why you need the product . 3️⃣Connect with the brand (emotional connection) Then you begin to associate this brand or product with a memory or feeling. You think to yourself, if I buy this product I will look good or feel good about myself. All this happens in your mind ,before you act ......! This approach can also be used in behaviour change communication.......! Do you agree.....? Share your experiences. ❤️Dr. Kelechi Andrew Share ↗️ if you found this really helpful Repost ♻️so someone can learn from this. 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘋𝘳. Winning an award is a testament to our hard work and dedication, but the real challenge lies in leveraging that recognition to generate impactful news coverage. I've gotten a lot of questions on how we got on CBS News just recently, so I'm just going to spill the secrets so that my fellow therapists and business owners can transform an award into a powerful marketing tool. The results speak for themselves—patients are now walking into our office, booking appointments after seeing our features on local news. This direct response underscores the importance of focusing on local marketing over broad-based digital strategies, which is something I had to unlearn after 20+years in corporate marketing for B2B high-tech companies. But anyway, I digress. I would love to see everyone who is dedicated to improving mental health in Colorado succeed, so read the full article to learn how to turn your achievements into meaningful media coverage and drive real business growth. Social media healthcare content has taken on a cult-like tone, turning nuanced conversations into rigid belief systems to build platforms. This is happening on Instagram more so than LinkedIn but still worth mentioning here and the interdisciplinary fighting is getting absurd. The ‘us vs. them’ mentality creates tribes instead of communities, stifling meaningful progress in a field that should be collaborative, not combative. Here’s why this mindset is destructive: 1. Echo Chambers: Polarized groups shut down any information that doesn’t align with their views, leaving little room for growth or learning. 2. Demonizing Alternatives: Valid approaches get dismissed simply because they don’t fit the chosen narrative, even if they work for others. 3. Moral Superiority: Health becomes a measure of virtue, where being ‘right’ is more important than individual and population health. 4. Hindering Innovation: The ‘us vs. them’ construct stops us from embracing new ideas that don’t fit the existing dogma, slowing the evolution of better health practices. True progress happens when we stay open to a broad range of perspectives, understanding that health, and the pursuit of it, is individualized and rarely black and white.

Navigating the complexities of healthcare marketing requires more than a one-size-fits-all approach. It demands a strategic touch, where precision is at the heart of every decision. To truly connect with our audience, we adapt our channel and messaging strategy to match their unique needs. ✅ We're not just talking facts and figures; we're about delivering direct, actionable content, whether it's guiding a parent on how to manage their child's fever or furnishing them with gentle insights on how to talk about mental health. It's all about being authoritative without being daunting, and providing value in every piece of content. 🚸 Building trust goes further with audience-focused content. By marrying authenticity with authority, we strive to resonate deeply with our communities. Moments of cultural significance offer a rare opportunity to align brand values with public sentiments, solidifying trust and relatability. 👐 Learn more about how to navigate children's health marketing: https://lnkd.in/gUazdzjq #AudienceEngagement #ChildrensHealth #StrategicPartnerships #healthcaremarketing

As part of the health and longevity software we are creating, we're making a social media platform that is devoted exclusively to health, longevity and staying young. Rather than having to jump from group to group on Facebook or Reddit, this would be an all in one platform that would let people connect, share health and longevity tips with each other, access resources like videos and motivate each other to keep up a healthy lifestyle. I'm wondering if this would be worth making into a standalone, free social media site. I have a questionnaire asking about that, and I'd appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to say whether you'd use such a free site and, if so, what features should it have. https://lnkd.in/e_UHgs9j
