This nifty tool, dubbed “Ouch to Ah-Ha,” helps teachers and administrators find moments that lead to new ideas. Use it to mark what has happened during a pHail (fail) moment on a scale. Learners can then think about why the pHail happened and write that on the bottom of the scale. Is there a link between the size of the pHail and the learning?
