Dark Sky New Mexico is a global community hosting some of the world’s most prominent astrophotographers and astronomers. Featured Astro-Image of the Day: Asteroid 2023 WM26 was ‘discovered’ by PanSTARRS on November 18th, 2023. Recent data has shown it to be active and comet-like. It has been suggested that this one was previously detected as comet P/2011 NO1 Elenin. I suspect the MPC will announce something soon.
