This is really exciting, the patent I worked on at #Tempus using AI for predicting patient recruitment at clinical sites has been filed and published, USPTO Pub. No. US 2024/0221874 A1. Predictability in recruitment plays an important role in portfolio planning, trial design and site selection and is critical to the success of clinical trials. Uncertainty here can result in eligibility criteria being designed too narrow to successfully enroll a trial or too wide to hit efficacy/toxicity endpoints. There is great potential for solving these long-standing challenges with access to new robust, deep, multimodal data sources and leaps in AI. Exciting news! CatSci Ltd and REACH INDUSTRIES have secured an Innovate UK grant to accelerate the development of life-changing oligonucleotide therapeutics. This grant will fund a collaboration that combines scientific expertise with machine vision tools to streamline the synthesis, purification and analysis of RNA medicines.
