💭 Friday thought - why have I not found Focusmate until now? I joined a webinar yesterday with Neurodiversity Celebration Week and this product was introduced in the chat. I find it hard to focus sometimes on things I’m not naturally drawn to; especially post-lunch slump time. So I thought I’d give this product a try and use it to channel my energy into completing “that thing I needed to complete but have been putting off all week” 🙄 It’s great! It held me to account - I had 25 minutes in the session to focus on this one task that I’d dedicated this time to. I was matched with Kate in the US who also had stuff to get done. We did brief intros and shared our goals for the session then went away and did them! We checked in at the end of the session to share whether we’d successfully achieved what we set out to do, and went on our merry ways! Not for everyone, I appreciate, but I’ll definitely use it again and am sharing for anyone else who could do with the extra focus at times, or who knows someone who could do with something like this to help with productivity 🧠
