Definitely keeping it light today. I’m in that ‘What-was-I-doing, I can’t remember mindset’ this morning 😂 Last few hours to go 👌 👉 A final few thoughts... ✅ Recruitment has been much more manageable than previous, post Covid years, but the pace and uncertainty remain very much alive! 🖤 As a basic breakdown of #performance, I ended up with 54 offers, 92% acceptance rate, 35% sourced by myself. Time to offer came in at 33 days. 💭 When I first started in #recruitment, making a significant impact on headcount growth was everything to me, and it still means a lot. But these days, #sucsess and #motivation is more than just hitting numbers. For me, it’s about stretch: 📈 How can I better support the team? Where can I develop my business relationships further? Am I truly living and breathing the company values? Where else can I make an impact and what more can I do? All while staying true to my number ONE top priority: 💥 Customer Service 💥 Little by little, day by day. Small tweeks = development I’m excited for 2025. Something is brewing! Revelio LABS has reported a 6% decrease in job postings for December, following a 9.6% decline in November. While Q4 is typically a slower hiring period, these numbers indicate that labor demand is falling. However, I’m hearing a consistent message from senior leaders: the "grace period" from COVID is over. There is increasing pressure from the C-suite and boards of directors to achieve results with fewer resources. Managers are being asked to deliver improved outcomes without increasing headcount. In my experience, this sentiment often leads to increased hiring. As leaders feel the pressure to drive results, they typically find ways to do so. When new opportunities are identified, hiring additional talent to support these initiatives suddenly becomes a valuable investment that is easily justified and approved. I predict that hiring is about to get rowdy! 🏇
