We're developing a multi-fuel system that converts a variety of fuels into hydrogen in-situ using the innovative Compact Membrane Reactor (CMR) technology. Commerce is part of an Inter-Agency Electric Vehicle Coordinating Council (EV Council) and I had the opportunity to lead a panel discussion with representatives of automakers and dealerships at this month's Council meeting. 🚗 ⚡ When it comes to EVs, having conversations with both policymakers and industry leaders at the table are important in understanding some of the barriers to EV adoption, including consumer preferences on size and range, vehicle cost, and EV education. We need to know what we can do at the state level to help propel EV trends toward - more vehicle variety 🚘 - affordable model options 💲 - EV education and awareness ⚡ The pressure to decarbonize the highest emitting sector in WA is urgent, and these conversations are one way to understand and addressing the issues head on. 🌎
