Today we are going to analyze the other three syllable types from last week's Tidbit Tuesday! 💠Vowel Team: Two vowels together that form one sound. Have you ever heard: "If two vowels go walking, the first one does the talking?" While that is true some of the time, there is a large number of words that do not follow this, such as good, about, or author. Instead, we can teach the vowel teams from most to least common. 💠R-Controlled: A syllable where a vowel is followed by the letter r. Keep in mind these could have slight variations depending on where you live! 💠Consonant-le: A consonant -le syllable pattern is a final syllable that contains a consonant followed by le. The e in this syllable is always silent. Can you think of words that fit under each syllable type? Next week we are going to put this knowledge to the test in our TRIVIA TUESDAY! Be sure to be on the lookout for your chance to win some CESA 3 SWAG! #CESA3 #EmpoweringEducators #TidbitTuesday
