Your governance environment is made up of your own governance, and your wider environment. Your own governance (in blue), encompasses elements such as your people and internal culture. On the other hand, your wider environment (in yellow), also known as your broader context, encompasses everything outside of your group. It includes elements and institutions such as the wider economy, and local government. These are not part of your group, but they affect how you operate and make decisions.
