Afternoon all, as I continue to actively search for my next role, thought I would share some interesting trends... 1) Sadly ghosting still appears to be a thing. Always find it to be a curious strategy given impact on future candidate loyalty/interest. Also, more Senior ones could themselves one day be on hiring side and able to reflect on how they were treated when it comes to choosing a recruitment partner 2) One establishment in particular has offered several roles that are inside IR35, and long term contracts, circa 12 to 18 months, but with rather poor hourly rates, (not daily because I think they work a 9 day fortnight). Basically though, if you do the sums, you will be better off overall with a regular FTC salary contract with regular employee benefits Ah well, the search continues And if I don't hear back from anyone re an application, then I will go with someone else.....
