Now students have to bear the torture of self paced worst lectures. An error occurs when using the speed extension. The error appears not only with the speed extension but also if a student forwards just one second by mistake, the lecture window immediately exits. Don't worry about this error because it's happening to everyone. Institute is forcing students to waste time on lectures where they are merely reading PPT. Is this really a robust system? The big problem is for students who have further exams. This has become a burden for them. What should be done now? ➨ Play the lecture in the background & do other tasks. You can watch lecture without turning on camera. ➨ Lectures work at a speed of up to 1.5x; beyond that, the error occurs. I have checked this. So you can still complete the lecture with trick, but don't go beyond 1.5x speed. Use the same extension given - Link Many students have already completed the lecture at increased speed. They do not need to worry. Once you get the green tick beside the lecture, it is marked as completed. This past week I had the opportunity to attend the CalCPA San Joaquin Chapter Student Night. I was able to meet amazing accountants from many different firms and fields. I am so grateful that I was invited to attend. My biggest takeaway is just how many amazing people there are in this profession. Accountants are doing diverse things in hundreds of different fields. Having a career in accounting is not boring at all! It was also clear to me how special in-person networking events are. Getting to know people face to face and learning about their lives outside of accounting was such a wonderful experience. People are willing to share their knowledge and career experiences with students. In-person networking events are the perfect place to take advantage of this! If you are on the fence about studying accounting or about a career in accounting, get to know some accountants. I promise they will not disappoint. Also, get out and go to in-person networking events! If you dress correctly and come prepared with great questions, I guarantee you will walk away with a bunch of new connections! #networking #accountingstudents #studentsuccess #calCPA

I admit it , winning trust is very hard!!! But in the past 3 months and more so in the last month- I've heard this "I wish i joined FOCAS earlier itself" - few text , few tell it on call , few give me video feedback even before exams . Busy with your final ki preparation.. 🔥 Aree Yaar,, ye Self paced dena abi baaki hai.. 😩 Don't worry, I'm here to share some of my Experience for Set-A which can help you save your precious time and resources as well..! To chalo shuru kre.. 👉 📍1st and foremost, complete your compulsory lectures asap since there's just 2 to 4 days provided in a month to book the seat. Although ICAI is working on it. 📍 Lectures aren't needed in my opinion, just a mere self study can boost your marks. Can also refer YouTube revision videos for conceptual clarity. 📍 Solve ICAI module MCQ's, Model test paper uploaded in BOS portal compulsorily as I've seen questions copy paste in the exam. 📍While studying there's no need to go thoroughly all the topics as content iss too much, just a conceptual clarity is needed and highlight the crux which u need to refer while revision. 📍Focus on calculative parts like managerial remuneration, effective capital. Also carry your calculator. 📍Each individual gets a different set of questions, even same case but a different provision asked. As in a case study, I was asked about appointment of women director whereas my friend about the Independent director. 📍Limits, tenure for IBC, Winding up, SFIO are some compulsory topics to be seen. Refer some YouTube channel for better selection of topics. You don't need to get 100% of the study material content. 📍Penalty- one of my most enemy part to learn.. But NO.. (Penalty of the chapter SEBI- 15 F to 15 H) Don't miss at any cost.. just drink the limits of the table given in module as the options in exam were so confusing. 📍Reach on time as invigilator over there are strict about the rules. Have a transparent water bottle and your ID and admit card , they don't allow steel water bottles. 📍It totally depends on your quality of concepts while studying as I just took 1 day proper leave from office and scored 68 whereas my friend 4 days leave-scored 70, another one 2 days- 62. So, don't panic for it, we were 6 students in the centre and we all passed. You too will in 1 go..! 🙌 Also, one request, Have yr breakfast or lunch before the exam as you're not allowed to leave before the exam time ends, i. e, 3 hrs. I was starving sitting over there. As soon as I submitted and saw the score, I got a sigh of relief and just ran to cafe..!! 😂 Hope it helps..! All the best 👍💯guys. Just be confident-You'll pass in one go..! 🙌
