I'm not one to typically chime in and share much over LinkedIn and other social media platforms but this is something too cool not to share. I am a huge advocate and a big believer that it costs us nothing to be KIND. Regardless of any of the differences that are out there in the world, I get to work for a company that spreads the true meaning of kindness through genuine, and authentic recognition. We can Recognize the Good in everything we say and do and now we can do it in a way that truly brings it to everyone! Awardco is excited to announce our newest feature: External Recognition! This allows anyone outside your organization—such as vendors, clients, customers, patients, or partners—to recognize the people inside your organization, spreading feelings of happiness and value to everyone. We have been using this here at Awardco with so many amazing things being said about each other. There is true value in being KIND and letting someone know how much you appreciate them! Here is my personal link! Check it out and see what you think! https://lnkd.in/ga5YM-rr

Today at Awardco, we're excited to announce another massive product release... 🎉 Introducing External Recognition 🎉 Organizations around the globe interact with external counterparts every day. For those who are served, it's often difficult to leave a personalized note or formal recognition for the employee who assisted them. For those companies who do have programs for internal peer-to-peer appreciation, the recognition view has been incomplete as it often leaves out the frontline, deskless or customer-facing worker. That is until now... External Recognition allows teams to create a holistic view of how their employees are recognized through being rewarded by the customers, patients, partners, vendors, or other third parties they interact with daily. We've seen incredible early adoption of this feature in healthcare, retail and other service businesses, and it's just one more way Awardco continues to lead the industry in product innovation. Creating a recognition program is important... and incentivizing your teams to create a culture of performant customer service through your recognition program is game-changing. A few days ago, my first venture into independent creative entrepreneurship reached a five-year milestone. The journey has been nothing short of amazing, with plenty of challenges. While nothing here is new, here are 10 things I’ve learnt and am still embracing daily. Take the Leap Leaving a comfortable senior role isn’t easy, but you’ll learn that progress rarely comes from staying put. Trust your gut and take that courageous first step. Start Before You’re Ready There will never be a “perfect moment” to launch. Sometimes, the best way to learn is by doing—so dive in and figure things out on the fly. Fail Fast, Learn Faster Mistakes are inevitable. The key is to acknowledge them quickly, extract the lessons, and pivot before it costs you too much time or resources. Find Your Tribe Surround yourself with mentors, supporters, and fellow entrepreneurs. They’ll provide encouragement, fresh ideas, and the valuable feedback you need to grow. And don’t stop looking for new inspirations - you’ll learn different things from different people. Embrace Uncertainty Entrepreneurship can feel like navigating uncharted waters. Accept that you won’t always have clarity, but keep moving forward with confidence and adaptability. Keep Your Vision Front and Center On the tough days (and there will be many), it’s crucial to remember your “why.” A clear purpose will carry you through challenges and setbacks. Build from Values Whether it’s how you treat your team or the quality of your product, let your values guide every decision. This keeps you authentic, and authenticity sells. Cash Flow Is King Passion is critical, but so is understanding your numbers. Monitor cash flow, margins, and budgets closely—profitability fuels your mission. I’ve had to learn this the hard way, and I am still learning. Measure Incremental Wins It’s not always about monumental leaps. Small, steady improvements and tiny victories compound over time into major progress. Never Stop Learning Read widely, talk to experts, and be curious about everything. The moment you stop learning, you stop growing. Also, to everyone who has been my supporter, my shoulder to cry on (not literally, but close enough), my friend, my trusted advisor, and even to those who doubted me or said it couldn’t be done – thank you! Each of you has played a pivotal role in shaping my journey, motivating me to reach further and strive harder. Your support, questions, criticisms, and encouragement have pushed me to discover new possibilities and surpass my limits. Here’s to every lesson learned, every hurdle cleared, and every victory celebrated—none of which would have been possible without your collective influence. #collaborationovercompetition #beatnk
5 incredible years have flown by in the blink of an eye, and we couldn’t be prouder of our powerhouse team 💪🏻⚡️ To our amazing clients, brands, and brilliant partners—thank you for your unwavering support and trust. None of this would have been possible without you 🤝 Here’s to many more years of bold creativity, unforgettable collaborations, and shared successes 🥂✨ Let’s keep making magic together! 🎉” #collaborationovercompetition

Super excited to announce Awardco’s latest feature launch - External Recognition! How often have you encountered the want or need to do more when you’ve had an exceptional experience with someone in the service industry? Frontline, customer-facing employees are often the initial introduction to your organization. It could be the cashier swiping your family’s weekly groceries, the server who made you feel at home, or the nurse who held your hand during a scary time. The encounters are endless and the opportunities to do more should be too. Sometimes it feels like a simple “thank you” just isn’t enough. Now with Awardco's customer-to-employee recognition feature, you have the ability to: ✓ Improve customer experience by improving your employee experience ✓ Incentivize your employees for going above and beyond ✓ Celebrate the individuals that create meaningful experiences ✓ Allow your customers to help create a positive work environment This enhancement to our employee recognition platform is just one more way Awardco continues to lead the industry in product innovation. What a joy it has been to spend the week with FR International (Frascio). We have been here working through a deep dive with Nathan Tobey (President), Jason Robison (SVP Sales) and Sean DeForrest (Business Development) digging deep into the brand, history, requirements, competitors and what makes Frascio so compelling (and wow, it certainly is). And how special these people are (seems typical in this industry): the most honest, genuine, humble and people of such integrity. Nathan would often answer question such as 'why would you do that if you aren't legally obligated?' with 'because it's the right thing to do by the people involved'. This is why we do what we do. It's an absolute passion to connect with such people and do whatever it takes to contribute in whatever way we can to their success. Pictured here with me are Nathan and high delightful wife Ellen (and CFO) at dinner. Such gracious hosts. Thank you FR International - Frascio! Here's to your current and future success! #frascio #frinternational #salessuccess #marketingstrategy

“A team is so much more important than titles.” At BLACC Bottle, we’ve seen firsthand how powerful a team can be when united by shared passion and purpose. Titles define roles, but it’s the dedication, sacrifice, and belief in a greater mission that make the real difference. When you find individuals willing to set aside personal advancement for the success of the team, that’s the team to hold on to. It’s no longer just work—it becomes a movement driven by collective strength and commitment. Proud of what we’re building together and grateful for a team that lifts each other up every step of the way. #Teamwork #PassionAndPurpose #BLACCBottle #StrongerTogether #SacrificeForTheTeam
