Product Sustainability, Safety and Toxicology Executive

The UN 2024 #InternationalDayofWomenandGirlsinScience is dedicated to #Women in #Science #Leadership: A New Era for #Sustainability. I have asked Women in Science Leadership, especially those in ECETOC: European Centre for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals and in my teams at Shell for the characteristics of their female role model (for the scientists among you n = 25). Interesting findings: 👉 Family, especially #grandmothers and #mothers are inspiring role models 👉 Several of the current Women Science Leaders had no female role models in their academic education, simply by the lack of women at that time. 👉 Strength, balancing a career and family life, respectful, kindness, generosity and radiating positivity and energy are characteristics of female role models 👉 What characteristics displayed your female role model? Please share in the comments! Dear fellow Women in Science Leaders – WE are role models for the next generation! Continue to inspire the next generation of Women and Girls in Science with your #authentic traits as a #diversity of role models will give the next generation ample examples to follow!
