Raising standards, raising skylines A late morning train after The International Parking Community (IPC) conference gave me the chance for a wander among Manchester's back streets. I find the city inspiring and a fitting place to bring together a large element of the parking community. As a modern city it's finding ways to evolve the needs of the car alongside terrific public transport. At another level, architecturally, it continues to evolve, making best use and reinventing what works, but not afraid to develop the new where it's needed.
