During United Nations Climate Week, global leaders, policymakers, and businesses have come together to discuss the critical goal of achieving Real Zero—a future where we not only reduce emissions but completely eliminate them. Unlike the "Net Zero" approach, which often relies on offsetting emissions, Real Zero aims for a world where carbon emissions are no longer part of the equation. Conversations at the UN Climate Week are shedding light on the need for faster, more innovative solutions to tackle the climate crisis. The key topics being discussed include: The urgent need for investment in renewable energy and clean technology. Policies and incentives that will accelerate the transition to Real Zero. The role of businesses in adopting sustainable practices and energy solutions like solar to move closer to carbon neutrality. International cooperation to ensure that developing countries have access to the resources they need for a sustainable transition.
