In my career and working with clients, I too often see fancy strategy packs and business plans be communicated across the business, with board and investors and then sit there until next planning season.
As part of our discovery work before a project gets going, our process is always reviewing current plans. Too commonly, they are back dated, things have changed and current motions not reflective of what was set out to be done.
