I’m curious: when you were in high school, did you know about any of the careers on this list? Healthcare is an ever growing industry and is projected to keep growing here in CA, but I never knew how diverse this job sector was. I thought because I personally didn’t see myself as a nurse or doctor that healthcare wasn’t for me…having no idea what a Respiratory Therapist, or a Surgical Technologist even was! I wonder how many young students out there are like me today without any idea of the many potential lucrative and rewarding fields they could enter. If the Job Market was an actual market with “jobs for sale” id say the Healthcare market needs a little bit of help from marketing…how do we change the messaging and get the word out there?

Job satisfaction It's been 4 yrs of clinical practice, interacting with both patients and staff. 7.30 am to 6.30 pm in most cases. Approximately 14 hours if it's a night shift. I do not like routine, every two yrs I find myself exploring other avenues in the field of nursing including personal growth. What is job satisfaction? What strategies are put in place to enhance job satisfaction? Am I responsible for my own satisfaction at work?

The Doctor’s Life Coach ✨Helping doctors who are frustrated with the day-to-day challenges of their job feel less stressed, have more control;be more confident in work & life.
When you have been trained to respond to pages, messages, notes from nurses, texts from patients and warning bells in the hospital You will always feel like you are playing a game of wack a mole Your life will feel chaotic, unpredictable and unorganized When you immediately respond to everyone’s faux urgency and emergency You devalue your time, your schedule and your priorities You have been trained to be responsible for everything and to respond to everyone But this is not sustainable long term. To get your work done at work and retake control of your day You must triage like your life depends on it Because it does The longevity and quality of your professional career hinges on how you make decisions, respond and execute tasks right now The medical system rewards those who respond immediately by giving them more work You must decide what tasks you take on and why You must decide how and when you will respond to emails, phone calls, sticky notes, calendar invites and last minute appointments added to your schedule Although each may seem like a small distraction Little 15-20 minute disruptions will quickly eat up all your time and energy Leaving you with piles of work that you must then take home to complete. Ready to stop running behind and make life less stressful? Click the link below and I’ll show you how. https://lnkd.in/gnK76ETQ

In one year: 2 Dentists, 1 Physician Assistant, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Family Medicine Physician, 1 Licensed Professional Counselor 🩺🩺🩺🩺🩺🩺🩺 That is what I have helped to recruit and bring to a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center!!!! Seven providers! Not a fancy private practice, or large healthcare system with almost endless funds. But a smaller organization focused on serving the underserved population in our community - that has a LOT of surrounding competition. I rarely self-brag…. But it’s time I finally give myself a tiny pat on the back! 🥳👏🏻 This victory truly speaks volumes to our organization, though. The Mission of New Horizon Family Health Services is such an important one. Our community NEEDS this place. If I can get providers here, when they meet this amazing healthcare team, see our facilities, and most importantly see our lovely patients…. It sells itself! When they see the work-life balance and hear our benefits, then add to that the positive impact they can truly make on our community - game changer! For those who WANT to make a difference for a population who truly NEEDS their services…. This is a great place to call home. We are continuing to grow. If you are a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant who is looking for a place where you can make a difference and truly feel your impact - reach out to me. A discussion can’t hurt… and may lead you to a path that you will thank me for, later! (I have certainly been told thank you, many times, from those I’ve helped bring on board, so far.) Ps- My position is not one that gets paid commission or recruiting bonuses. I do not get any reward for bringing someone here, other than my own personal satisfaction when I find a good fit, for a good human to come and help our community. If I truly don’t think we’d be a match for each other, I will not lead you this way. It does not do either of us any good. What do you have to lose? 💛🖤🩺💛🖤 #PrimaryCarePhysicians #NPs #PAs #healthcare #communityhealth #greatplacetowork #hiring #recruit #makeadifference
