I broke away from my computer long enough to attend a Power Women Expo on Friday. So, I wanted to share some reflections from my very first experience at that Expo, a day that was both enlightening and empowering! 🌟 AI Empowerment: One of the standout messages was the role of AI in our lives. It's not here to take our place but to amplify our abilities and support our goals. A reassuring reminder since I’m a big fan of AI. Self-Belief: A recurring theme was the importance of recognizing our own strengths. We often underestimate our knowledge and abilities. Today was a reminder to own our expertise confidently. You likely possess more wisdom and skills than you give yourself credit for. Literary Gems: The expo was a treasure trove of book recommendations tailored for personal and professional growth. Such reads include: “Getting to Yes” by Roger Fisher and William Ury. “Nice Girls Don’t Get the Corner Office” by Lois Frankl. And “The Secret Thoughts of Successful Women” by Valerie Young. And more I’m sure I missed! Authenticity Is Key Amidst the diverse voices, the call to be genuine resonated deeply. Being true to oneself isn't just advice; it's a strategy for genuine connection and growth. Capture Moments: I need to take more photos! Ecspecially with other people! Haha. Attending this women's expo wasn't just an opportunity to learn; it was a chance to connect with a community passionate about growth, empowerment, and making a meaningful impact. This issue hits close to home, as my wife often reminds me of the obstacles our daughter might face.
