Crop Excellence® Utility Waste Management contains strains of fresh, viable, and natural microbes selected for their capabilities to handle the degradation of “common” organics in wastewater, and the reduction of grease and hydrogen sulfide. Utility Waste Management is a high-count microbial inoculant with efficacy across several environmental applications. The Truth About Odor Reduction In untreated pits & lagoons, anaerobic biology runs the process of producing hydrogen sulfide. Crop Excellence® Utility Waste Management consists of powerful aerobic and anoxic biology reducing hydrogen sulfide production resulting in less stink! Solid & Sludge Reduction Crop Excellence® Utility Waste Management breaks down organic polymers into monomers. The capable biological team creates an enzymatic soup breaking down cellulose, starch, lipids, chitin, and lignin. This enzymatic soup liquifies solids & sludge preserves pit/lagoon capacity, increases pump-out efficiency, releases nutrient value, and reduces stratification. Visit cropexcellence.com to learn more about Crop Excellence® Utility Waste Management and the rest of our specialty agricultural products. #biological #wastemanagement #livestock #odorreduction

APPLY HERE: https://lnkd.in/gfWWFtkt Deadline to apply: April 19th, 2024. Aviation contributes more than 2% of global CO2 emissions. Looking for companies that develop innovative uses of corn, such as sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), to help reduce the CO2 emissions. "The Radicle Corn Value Chain Challenge sponsored by US Corn Farmers" sets out to invest a minimum of US $1.5M in start-up and growth companies from around the globe whose innovative technologies and business models create new uses for corn and long-term sustainable demand for corn production. These companies are expected to be developing new uses of corn that result in replacements for fossil fuel-derived materials with plant-derived materials such as sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), drop-in chemicals and plastics, compostable materials, and as yet unidentified products and product categories that could be new areas for corn-derived products to be used. The production of biopolymer begins in sugarcane plantations. The process involves extracting ethanol from sugarcane, which is then converted into polyethylene. The significance of this process lies in its ecological efficiency: for every ton of the final product, up to 2.12 tons of carbon dioxide are captured from the atmosphere. In contrast, the traditional equivalent, derived from petroleum, emits approximately 2.24 tons of the same gas per ton produced. GigaLan Green cables, pioneers in the industry, are made from this sustainable biopolymer. They offer high performance and environmental responsibility, with the added safety assurance of LSZH-3 classification, ensuring safety in high-traffic areas. #Furukawa #Sustainability #Technology #Innovation #Market #GigaLanGreen #Environment

Bacteria called acetobacterium are capable of destroying some per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances known as "forever chemicals," a discovery by University of California Riverside researchers that can be used to help clean contaminated groundwater before it reaches wells. Bioengineers can build on this research and help improve enzymes to become more effective on additional PFAS compounds. #acetobacterruim #foreverchemicals #PFAS #drinkingwater

Forever Chemicals (PFAS) do not naturally occur in nature, why have PFAS been found into our water, soil and products we use? PFAS are manmade chemicals known as, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. These chemicals are used to effectively improve resistance in products against water, stain, and grease. However, these chemicals are incredibly difficult to breakdown, and proven to be extremely damaging; yet PFAS are everywhere. The U.S. Environmental Agency (EPA) does not regulate or restrict the use of Forever Chemicals. Most PFAS are not even tested by the EPA, and allow manufacturing companies to avoid disclosing to consumers if they have products containing PFAS. One commonly known place to find PFAS are in the kitchen. Non-stick cookware, silicone utensils, also found in clothing, food-packaging, and have been found inside our bodies. PFAS have been shown to cause cancer in both humans and animals, regularly identified in our drinking water, infiltrated our food system, and our daily lives. BioRegion has a possible solution, with our bioderived carbon product made from 100% sustainably sourced raw material. TruBlack™ Ag can be used for filtration and high absorption. TruBlack™ Ag is renewable, sustainable, organic, and naturally occurring with a low carbon footprint.
