Thames Water publishes series of design changes to proposed Teddington Direct River Abstraction project following feedback from over 2,000 people: The UK’s largest water and wastewater company has announced that it will make further changes to its proposed London drought resilience project in response to feedback from customers. The new infrastructure project is of national significance and would safeguard the drinking water supply to millions of households and businesses across London. Thames Water forecasts a shortfall of 1 billion litres of water per day by 2050 and it expects to be supplying an additional two million customers in London by that time, up from eight million to 10 million. The PumpCentre has announced the appointment of Water Magazine as their official media partner. We've been a supporter of The Pump Centre for many years, and a yearly exhibitor at the Water Equipment Show since its inception, so we're absolutely thrilled to be more involved. So far this year we've supported them with the printing and distribution of their biannual newsletter, Pump Action, which we've also made available digitally on our site here: https://lnkd.in/e878iXxs John Howarth, Manager of The Pump Centre, said: “There’s so much synergy between our two organisations that it makes sense to formalise that, and be able to offer extra benefits, like improved advertising rates and promotional opportunities, to our members.” Read the full news release here: https://lnkd.in/edP56hwf
