Europe’s work towards decarbonisation 🔋 France is taking a leap towards climate neutrality with an innovative collaboration between Swedish clean-tech start-up, Elonroad, and VINCI Group, Europe’s largest construction company and highway operator. Together, they're pioneering the development of electric roads, a crucial aspect of second-generation electric mobility, right on the A10 highway outside Paris, one of France’s NetZeroCitiesEU. The electrified track on the A10 will showcase new technology, enabling automatic dynamic charging for electric trucks and simultaneous charging for various vehicles, all while in motion. An approach that not only reduces reliance on heavy and expensive batteries but also significantly cuts down CO2 emissions.
