It all adds up.
Whether that’s doing a massive project one phase at a time, building a company one job at a time, or getting healthier one choice at a time, eventually it all adds up.
Same thing goes in the opposite direction. Like, needing to have that hard conversation but putting it off, wanting to slow down but still saying yes to everything, or wanting to ask for help but pushing through it alone, again.
It all adds up.
Construction is facing a labor shortage and growing mental health crisis. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. We need 501,000 more workers to fill jobs and meet capacity according to the Associated Builders and Contractors. At the same time, construction workers are four times more likely to end their own lives than people in the general population.
This is unacceptable.
Let’s be clear, there’s a lot we can’t control in this equation but what we can control, adds up. Educate yourself on learning the signs that someone is struggling, check in twice when you ask someone how they’re doing, and know where to direct someone when they’re brave enough to admit they need help. This is how we show up for each other, this is how we take action as individuals.
This is how it all adds up!
To create momentum, now through the end of the year Procore Technologies has committed to triple your donation to help raise funds for the mental health charities tackling this crisis in construction.
Together, let’s make sure it all adds up for good!
