As we commemorate Pride Month at Fresenius Medical Care, I am filled with both joy and pride in being part of such a vibrant and resilient community. Pride Month is more than just a series of events; it’s a reminder of our ongoing journey toward acceptance and equality. It’s a time to honor the brave individuals who have fought for our rights, recognize the progress we’ve made, and acknowledge the challenges that still lie ahead. I am incredibly proud to be leading our organization’s efforts to celebrate Pride Month this year. We have three amazing events lined up that all emphasize authenticity. First, we will learn about the importance of bringing our authentic selves to work every day. Then, we will hear one leader’s journey navigating professional spaces as an LGBTQ+ professional. Finally, we will round out the month with a panel conversation featuring employees from our LGBTQ+ community. These events and other activities are designed to foster understanding, support, and connection within our organization. They are an opportunity to learn from each other, celebrate our diverse identities, and strengthen our commitment to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.
