Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) - O'Hare & Midway International Airports’ Post

It's #TakeYourDogToWorkDay! Did you know more than two dozen TSA K-9s work at Chicago's airports? For #TakeYourDogToWorkDay, we're taking a look at a few of them. Figor, Ranger, and Joco patrol the concourses of Midway International Airport, while Asi and Jam hit the busy terminals of O'Hare. The dogs are trained to sniff out explosive devices. They work closely with their handlers and even live at home with them, so they have a real bond beyond their professional mission. Figor is an 8-year-old German Shepard who loves to play at the park when he's not at work. Ranger and Joco are both German Shorthair Pointers. Ranger likes playing in the snow and being near the water, while Joco prefers relaxing in his bed and playing with his toys. Asi is 4 years old and loves munching on organic chicken chips! Jam, on the other hand, would rather enjoy apples and bananas in a park filled with squirrels.

I have to say seeing these adorable pups at the airport makes going through security a bit more enjoyable. Even though I know they are working hard!
