Yesterday, we watched Hamilton live for the second time, bringing our total viewings (both live and digital) to about seven! This sparked a thought. What is the true mark of greatness when consuming? This time the answer came easy — how many times can I enjoy the same content without growing tired of it? When each new viewing brings a new insight or unlocks a new detail. When the more you experience something, the better it gets. You know you have discovered greatness. So, I made a list of things I have consumed multiple times and enjoyed anew each time: Books: - The Almanack of Naval Ravikant - The Stormlight Archive - Excellent Advice for Living - Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! Movies: - Interstellar - Dune (both parts) Musicals: - Hamilton - Lion King I now feel inspired to build a library of what I consider great with highly curated content. This will likely be a lifelong project, but stay tuned! Feel free to contribute with the absolute best piece of content you have ever experienced.

I shared a hot take a while ago how live theater is going to make a MAJOR comeback within the next decade. Here's my reasoning ↓
@ stories about humans theatre company: The BARD Project, development workshop #4. Richard the Second is a richly complex play; an emotional roller-coaster too. Language is dense, often poetic and always robust and 'muscular' on the 'speak' of it; actors need to be astute to the text at every turn of the page. But that's not hard because there are such thrilling, brutal and belligerent moments threading all the way through the narrative. Moments so highly charged, possessed of huge stakes should it all go pear-shaped for anyone at anytime. The outcome is never assured, until the end-game at plays' end. And even then, it's not over. This development workshop will be zoning in on those key thrilling scenes, made even more exciting with the expertise and guidance of fight director, Blake Wells.
