ChildFund International’s Post

Let’s talk about it. 💬 So much depends on the earliest years of our lives. In years 0 to 5, a child's brain forms millions of neural connections every second. Up through young adulthood, every life experience, whether positive or negative, has a lasting impact on a child's physical, social and emotional health. That's why we exist: to make sure that more children have access to the essentials of a strong start in life, from nutritious food and clean water to nurturing caregiving and protection from violence. Why do you think childhood is so important? What parts of yours shaped you? #TuesdayThoughts #Childhood #WeNeedEachOther #ChildFund

Childhood is the true stage of purity and innocence, whatever you achieve in this life, it's in one's childhood they get the inspiration to work towards their goals. It's the stage in life where you get big dreams, where you envision the world as a utopia.

Childhood helps in growth and development both physically, emotionally and socially, through this process is when you learn things and you can differentiate between good and bad. For me i learnt to be a good person, and through the bible i understood the Christian values for example love, kindness, honesty, hope and forgiveness.
