As the Richmond community prepares for the back-to-school season, we want to shoutout our unmatched VCU alumni! Event organizer Timmy Nguyen teamed up with the community and businesses for the 7th Annual Ultimate Backpack Supply Drive, which is the largest school supply drive in the country. Their undeniable dedication will help ensure that kids in seven districts, including children and families at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, are all set for the new school year. For over 120 years, Hilldrup has been helping individuals, families and businesses move onto new and exciting chapters in their life. Mental health matters and this past weekend, Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU hosted the first-ever Mental Health and Wellness Community Day to show unconditional support in addressing the growing demand for mental health resources.   A huge thank you to our community partners for making this event a success and to the Cameron K. Gallagher Foundation for supporting our Children’s Mental Health Resource Center (CMHRC) programming year-round. The Foundation’s mission is to fulfill Cameron’s dream and legacy by being a positive force that works to cultivate awareness and understanding of teenage depression and anxiety. Together, we’re making a difference for our kids and community!
