Children's Mercy Kansas City’s Post

Our Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Stephanie Meyer has been with Children’s Mercy since her nursing school days. 26 years later, she has been part of all 5 Magnet designations and is now leading the effort to be one of the first pediatric hospitals to achieve a 6th. 🏆 “We started the Magnet journey because we were already doing all the things that are part of the Magnet designation,” Stephanie recalled. “Magnet designations build on what our founders, the Berry sisters, started and demonstrate how we continue to pioneer into the future and be the leader in children’s health care.” Listen in as Stephanie talks with Senior Director of Nursing Excellence and the Magnet Program, Paula Blizzard.
