This week, our team celebrated the groundbreaking of the Galen College of Nursing and Memorial Health in Pooler, GA! Healthpeak Properties, Inc., in coordination with HCA Healthcare, brings a unique, three-story, tilt-up concrete building to serve as both a nursing school and medical office for community members. Galen College of Nursing offers students highly creative and functional spaces for an elevated learning experience. Facilities include a welcome center, multipurpose rooms, classrooms, learning labs, simulation center, and offices for faculty and staff. Memorial Health will occupy the remaining space in the building, providing high-quality medical care to local residents. Congratulations to the team on this exciting milestone! In collaboration with RB Hotel Development, Goff D'Antonio Associates, Cortney Bishop Design, and talented trade partners, our Charleston team delivered a retro-chic refresh of The Ryder Hotel, optimizing space and enhancing the overall guest experience all within its downtown footprint. Faced with the challenge of placing concrete in the hotel's newly enclosed courtyard, the team got creative—pouring at night and routing the pump over the roof to minimize disruption.
