Paris Summer Olympic Games 2024 is here, and the ticket to front-row action includes a QR code. As the countdown begins for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the city’s government officials are implementing a secure system in the form of a QR code Games Pass to safeguard spectators, residents, and workers. The pass, called JO 2024 QR code or Pass Jeux, contains all the essential details of every holder: surname, first name, and ticket number. It is to be presented at entry points of designated perimeters. Since April 2024, the QR code application system has been active on an exclusive platform set up by the Prefecture de Police. QR codes are now used as security tools. They are transforming event access and offering an unmatched blend of efficiency and control. This tool is designed to help minimize the risk of breaches, reduce paper usage, improve information access, and guarantee effective management of attendees at this large-scale event. Getting a QR code is easy. You will only need the following documents: • Proof of identity • Ticket for the Olympic Games • Proof of address The exact locations requiring a QR code haven’t been officially announced yet. However, you can expect them to encompass the immediate vicinity of Olympic venues, creating safe zones for athletes, officials, and spectators. Today's video on an article I saw this morning about how the Paris Olympics apparently suffered 140 cyberattacks during the games.
