Replacing the existing LR sourcebook with a new UKLR sourcebook is just one of the methods being applied to simplify the UK listing regime. The reform, billed as "the most significant overhaul the listing regime has seen in 3 decades", will go live on 29 July 2024 following a short implementation period. The Financial Conduct Authority have said, "As well as complying with the new regime, companies must also continue to have corporate governance in place and engage with their shareholders." I often wonder if options had been just a contract without tradability , i.e.investors could have just the opportunity to buy or sell and hold till expiring of the obligations - both the sellers and buyers would have done a lot better. They would have thought a lot more than what we do now to enter into the contract , avoided impulses because of constant price changes , saved a lot in slippage and transaction charges and the paradigm of the market would have been more towards investments rather than complete speculative operations. #investing

The table in this premium article illustrates the equity distributions for EU CLOs, based on a sample of 145 deals. All these deals have exited their reinvestment period by 31 January 2024. Unlike their US counterparts, the median distribution for EU CLOs has been trending higher.
