We’re up against it. Polarization, misinformation, fatigue, and now, again—political violence. It’s dangerous for our democracy. It’s dangerous for women. It’s dangerous for everyone.
Now is not the time to sit back and watch history be made. Violence of any kind must be denounced, and we need to work together to ensure political violence has no place in our democratic society.
If we want to see a different future where peace and constructive dialogue take priority over violence and civil unrest, it will take all of us making our voices heard—at the ballot box and in our communities—and demonstrating that inaction is not an option.
There is no democracy without women, and there is no democracy without all of us standing together, using our collective voice to denounce violence and uplift the future we all hope for—one filled with peace, promise, and respect for our country and each other. She Should Run
