March 4 is World Obesity Day. Obesity is a risk factor for the development of liver disease, such as NASH, diabetes, and eventually vascular disease. Obesity is not defined by weight or appearance. It is the excessive accumulation of fat in the body. Obesity is judged based on BMI, but if the amount of fat in the body is high even if the person is thin, it is better to suspect obesity and not leave it at that. Yes, just as some people have MASH/NASH even if they are thin. ►For more information https://lnkd.in/eS38U52
