Chinese firms are the winners of Iraq's Licensing Rounds 5+ and 6 awards held in Baghdad on 11-13 May, securing 10 of the 14 awarded blocks. The absence of major #IOCs, especially Shell, BP and TotalEnergies is notable, as well as Russian, Indian, and other Southeast Asian #NOCs.
