Coolbrook has completed phase one of our pilot testing at Brightlands Chemelot Campus to demonstrate our RotoDynamic Technology and its potential to reduce global industrial CO2 emissions by 30%. This enables us to move forward to industrial scale customer projects, opening a global industrial heating market of EUR 1 trillion. The test phase focused on the RotoDynamic Heater and validated the technology’s potential and technical pathway to achieving the 1700°C needed for high-temperature processes in cement and steel industries. Our pilot tests have already achieved the temperature level of 1000°C — several hundred degrees higher than what can be achieved with traditional resistive heaters. Our second pilot phase focuses on the RotoDynamic Reactor, our technology for 100% CO2-free olefin production. We are looking forward to RotoDynamic Technology’s first commercial demonstration projects at operational customer sites in 2024, while full commercial deployment will follow suite in 2025. In the meantime, we will continue to build our organisation and scale up our supply chain so that we can deliver on the technology’s potential to remove 30% of industrial emissions and bring in a clean new industrial era. Static electricity, also known as "triboelectricity," is created when two materials rub together. This friction generates a static charge, which can have costly and even dangerous consequences in today's technology-driven world. Uncontrolled static electricity can lead to electrostatic discharge (ESD) and various associated problems, including fire hazards and difficulties with powder discharge or flow during bulk solids processing. Additionally, static electricity can attract unwelcome impurities, leading to flaws or failures in the product. This problem is frequently seen in bulk solids blenders, mills, and screeners.
