Introducing "The Swamp Creature": A Vodka Daisy to Beat the Heat This refreshing cocktail combines the zing of lime, the sweetness of maraschino liqueur, and the kick of vodka. Perfect for summer sipping! A daisy is a classic cocktail with a ratio of 3 parts spirit, 2 parts sugar, 2 parts citrus, and 1 part liqueur. Think of it like a sour, but the base spirit is split 3:1 with another liqueur, plus a splash of something sparkling. We have tweaked the ratio a bit to balance the acidity of the lime, but feel free to experiment and adjust to your taste! Ingredients: 1.5 oz vodka 0.5 oz maraschino liqueur (Luxardo) 0.75 oz fresh lime juice 0.3 oz rich simple syrup (2:1 strength) Splash of Ginger Beer (Fever-Tree) Instructions: Shake all ingredients well over ice. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lime twist or a mint sprig. Why we love it: The Daisy has been around since the 19th century, and its light green color reminds us of its bayou origins. It's both a classic choice and one that allows for endless creativity. #CheersToSummer #ShakenNotStirred #CocktailHour #DrinkingWithPatriots

"SPENCER COCKTAIL (1930'S), improved!! ( for 2024) Too sweet of a drink and couldn't really taste the Apricot; So I had to balance it out for this Generation's palate. Specs: (Served Up!) (Stirred!) 3/4 oz. Apricot Liquor ¼ Orange Juice 1 Dash Regans Orange Bitters No. 6 1.5 oz. Soft Gin Garnish: Flamed Orange coin zest only. *Beautiful Citrine Gem colored presentation. *Tasty 😏. *You want to use a less sweet Orange Bitters to cut through all that sweetness. *Using Dry Gin cuts off the Apricot flavor, so a Soft Gin is required instead, witch actually gives it a more Apricot Tree herbaceous flavor.

A delightful mix that balances tart and sweet for those cozy autumn evenings. 🍂🍹 🍹 Cranberry Cobbler Glass: Chilled rocks glass 🌿 Ingredients: Dry Gin: 60 ml Fortified Wine: 20 ml Cranberry Syrup: 15 ml Cranberries: Muddled (4 for the drink, 3 for garnish) Citrus: 1 lemon wedge and 1 orange wheel, muddled Garnish: Mint sprig 🥂 Method: Muddle: In a chilled glass, muddle 4 cranberries, a lemon wedge, and an orange wheel. Mix: Add 60 ml gin, 20 ml fortified wine, and 15 ml cranberry syrup. Shake: Combine all ingredients with ice in a shaker. Strain: Pour into the chilled glass filled with pebble ice. Garnish: Add 3 cranberries and a mint sprig. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t have fancy pebble ice, you can smash regular cubes by wrapping them in a tea towel and smashing them with a rolling pin, just be careful not to have too much fun and smashing them too much ;) Suggested Australian Spirits For dry Gin - @square1gin Big Red Gin #yourbaryourway #FallCocktails #CranberryDelight #AsutralianSpirits

🍹 Day 12: 3 Non-Alcoholic Drinks 🍹 1. If you love gin but hate headaches, try creating a non-alcoholic version by infusing water with aromatics. 2. If you’re looking to create a cocktail with a ‘kick’, try making a shrub: a combo of fruit, sweetener, and vinegar to give it a tart taste. 3. Tea can help to achieve the malty goodness of whiskey and bourbon. Use it to create a lighter version of the classic Old Fashioned (whiskey, sugar syrup and bitters). #AdventCalendar #Day12 #NonAlcoholic #AlcoholAlternatives #Cocktails
