Eosinophils are a normal part of your blood. Sometimes, there can be too many eosinophils in different parts of the body, which leads to eosinophilic disorders. These cells usually move to an area when your body wants to attack something like an allergen. But if there are too many eosinophils, they can cause long-term swelling and damage to your tissues. Our Cincinnati Center for Eosinophilic Disorders is equipped to care for patients with all sorts of eosinophilic disorders, and we are proud to celebrate them as this week’s #FridayFeature!
