To those people looking for "any job" within their expertise: Careful Companies don't want to hire people looking for "any job." Will Ramadan effect your job search? 🕋 (does hiring come to a stand still?) Ramadan is a sacred month celebrated by over a 1bn people across the world. There will be fasting from sun rise to sun set, this can in some cases - effect productivity. This by no means necessitates that businesses have hung up the gloves for the month. ✅ Vacancies still need to be filled ✅ Money still needs to be made ✅ Targets still need to be met If you’re concerned about how Ramadan will effect your search, don’t be. Keep plugging away & be courteous to recruiters, HR teams & hiring managers who may be fasting. (& vice versa, be facilitating for potential applicants who may be fasting!) Remember, your job search should take 2-4 weeks. Have a great month to all those taking part in the sacred month of Ramadan. Ps, like this post if you’re searching for your next role 🎯

ALHAMDULILLAH ELITE FORCE CREATING JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN THE POWER PLANTS (FOR THE RURAL YOUTH): 1. Alhamdulillah. It’s really satisfying to think, visualise and implement such a programme in a country like ours, where employment opportunities are scarce. 2. With diligence, perseverance & hard work we have become a RELIABLE & DEPENDABLE company. Many of the power plants all over the country are our honourable clients. It includes / Included British, American, Spanish, Chinse, Indian, Malaysian, Sri Lankan, & Korean plants. 3. It’s a tremendous contribution to the country’s economy also. Recent increase of VAT by 15% on the Private Security Services will hugely enhance the revenue collection of the NBR. 4. Please send good & able bodied physically fit persons to our Recruitment Center (Madani Avenue 100ft) for employment. Note : 1 : Though BIG turn out - The Bottom line is Private Security Service is very lowly paid in our country. Most of the people will leave jobs, the moment they find another opportunity. Note :2 - After the initial selection we usually do little Gan-Bazna to hunt for rural talents.

Did I just hear lots of job opportunities… In this time of the year when a lot of people are relocating (Jakpaing 😃), transiting or changing jobs, etc., thereby creating vacancies. The resultant effect to this occurence is people applying for these open vacancies. Some apply correctly, while others apply in a wrong way, and when the latter become unsuccessful with their application, it yields to the narrative that “there are no jobs”. It is advisable that when applying for your dream job or preparing that application, carefully consider the following. - Ensure the Curriculum Vitae and Cover Letter that will be shared matches the Job position you are applying for. - Ensure the email sent in respect of the application is professional (Please don’t share a CV or cover letter without a body, or a subject: this makes the sender look so unserious and it stresses the receiver a lot). - Ensure that there are no grammatical errors or spelling mistakes. - Ensure you are properly prepared for all interviews before you are being invited: don’t sit and wait until when you are invited to start interview preparation. Even Noah in the holy book (Bible) prepared by getting all the instructions and process needed to build an ark before the flood came. Finally, remember your CV is not elixir ~ It cannot serve all jobs. Know this and know peace 😄. I hope you have a beautiful week ahead. #happynewweek

How to apply for jobs during Ramadan ? Applying for jobs during Ramadan, the holy month of fasting and prayer for Muslims, requires some consideration and sensitivity to cultural practices and working hours. Here are steps to apply for jobs during Ramadan: 1. Understand the Local Culture: Recognize that Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection and increased devotion for Muslims. It is also a time when working hours and business practices may change, with shorter workdays and adjustments to schedules. 2. Be Mindful of Timing: Consider the best times to apply for jobs during Ramadan. It is advisable to avoid contacting potential employers during prayer times or late at night, as these times are reserved for religious observances and family gatherings. 3. Adapt Your Schedule: If you are observing Ramadan, you may need to adjust your schedule to accommodate fasting and prayer times. This may include scheduling interviews or networking events outside of fasting hours or finding quiet spaces for prayer during the workday. 4. Respect Cultural Sensitivities: Be respectful of cultural practices and sensitivities during Ramadan. Avoid scheduling interviews or meetings during Iftar, the evening meal to break the fast, and be understanding if there are delays or changes to business operations during this time. 5. Maintain Professionalism: Despite the adjustments to schedules and working hours, it is essential to maintain professionalism in your job applications and interactions with potential employers. Ensure that your resume and cover letter are well-crafted and tailored to the job you are applying for. 6. Follow Up Appropriately: If you have applied for a job or attended an interview during Ramadan, follow up with the employer in a respectful and considerate manner. Acknowledge the significance of Ramadan and express your continued interest in the position. 7. Stay Positive and Persistent: Job hunting can be challenging at any time, and Ramadan may present additional obstacles. Stay positive, be patient, and remain persistent in your job search efforts. Use this time to network, enhance your skills, and explore new opportunities. By understanding and respecting the cultural practices and sensitivities of Ramadan, you can effectively apply for jobs during this holy month while maintaining professionalism and consideration for others. #hiring #hrhiring #humanresources #operationalexcellence
